Last night saw the 1,761st UK Lotto draw, which had an estimated £8.8 million jackpot on offer for any lucky players who were able to match all six numbers. However, due to the size of the jackpot on offer and the obvious enthusiasm amongst players to try for a piece of that prize, the actual jackpot came out at a whopping £9,324,240. But did any of those excited players manage to win a share of that prize? We take a look.
Latest UK National Lottery / Lotto Results for 7 November 2012
There ended up being two lucky winners who were able to match all six numbers to share that amazing double rollover jackpot, taking home a fantastic £4,662,120 each. But the huge prizes didn’t stop there – there was also one incredibly jammy player who matched five and the Bonus Ball to win a whopping £991,693! It is so unusual to see just one player win the second tier prize, as there is normally anything between two and 20 players sharing that 16% of the Prize Pool by matching five numbers and the Bonus Ball. Last night however, that one lucky person scooped the lot!
There were another 239 players who won £2,593 each by matching five numbers, and a further 13,882 players who matched four numbers to win £98.00. The remainder of the winners, all 275,203 of them, matched three numbers to win that £10 prize. The full results can be found on the Results Page on Lottery.co.uk.
Well done to everyone who took part and won a prize, and if you didn’t win – there’s always the weekend draw on Saturday, which has an estimated jackpot of £4 million, so don’t forget to buy your UK Lotto tickets in plenty of time for that draw!
