Now whilst the three winners may have healthier bank balances when they collect their winnings, surely they must be a little upset to find themselves jackpot winners but not actually millionaires but they should consider themselves lucky in comparison with the jackpot winners for draw number 9 of the National Lottery game. The UK Lotto results for that draw found an impressive 133 winners of the jackpot of £16,293,830 meaning every winner only took home £122,510 each!

Merlin was once again the draw machine with set of balls number 3, a combination last used on 15th February 2012 when two players shared a midweek Lotto jackpot of just over £2.3 million. Of the numbers that appeared in last night’s UK Lotto results two are from the most common lottery numbers category; the number 44 is actually the 2nd most common number coming out for the 230th time last night whilst the number 11 is the 4th making its 227th appearance.

The estimated Lotto jackpot for this Saturday is £4.2 million.
