The first UK Lotto draw for April 2012 took place last night and as the last five UK Lotto jackpots have been won many players were hoping to match the numbers drawn to win the jackpot that came out at just over £2.2 million. However, the UK Lotto results for Wednesday 4th April 2012 show that no ticket holders matched the numbers drawn, meaning not only does the jackpot now roll over for the first time in nearly a month but also the winning streak that had developed in the UK Lotto has now ended.
Latest UK National Lottery / Lotto Results for 7 April 2012
Even though there were no players that matched the UK Lotto results to win the jackpot there were over 304,000 ticket holders that won one of the remaining UK Lotto prizes. There were nine ticket holders that won the second tier prize that came out at £76,788 each by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. To add to that there were 313 players that matched five numbers to win £1,379 and then 288,457 won £10 by matching three numbers.
The winning numbers drawn last night show some interesting statistics as the numbers 23, 40 and 44 all made it into last night’s UK Lotto results and all three of the numbers are amongst some of the most often drawn UK Lotto numbers.
As the UK Lotto jackpot wasn’t won it means that the top prize rolls over to Saturday’s draw so it is now estimated at £6.6 million, which is the highest the jackpot has been since the 17th March. Therefore, make sure you have your tickers ready if you fancy winning this jackpot because you never know, you could match the UK Lotto results and become the first jackpot winner in this lottery for April 2012.
