Last night the first UK Lotto draw of May 2012 took place and after two ticket holders won the top prize of just over £3.9 million in Saturday’s draw many players were hoping that they would strike lucky in this mid-week UK Lotto draw and win the £2.5 million jackpot. This was the case as the UK Lotto results for Wednesday 2nd May 2012 reveal that three tickets matched the six main numbers drawn last night to split the jackpot to each win £856,640.

To add to the jackpot winners last night there was one UK Lotto ticket that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize that was worth £790,744 (only a £65,000 difference between the first and second UK Lotto prizes). To add to that 11,660 players won £93 by matching four numbers and then the smallest UK Lotto prize of £10 was won by 236,638.
The UK Lotto results from last night’s draw were drawn from the ball machine Lancelot and this is the first time since the middle of April that this particular ball machine has been used. Out of the numbers drawn in last night’s mid-week UK Lotto results the number 41 made an appearance and this number is amongst some of the least often drawn numbers.
As the UK Lotto top prize was won last night it now goes back to basics and as the next draw is on Saturday the jackpot available to win is estimated at £4.1 million – so have your tickets ready if you like the sound of becoming the next UK Lotto jackpot winner.
