The first UK Lotto draw of the week took place last night and after the jackpot has been won for the past three draws many players were hoping that they would match the numbers drawn in this mid-week draw to take home the UK Lotto top prize that came out at just over £2.2 million. The UK Lotto results for Wednesday 28th March 2012 show that in fact this was the case as one ticket holder matched all six of the numbers drawn to scoop this Wednesday night UK Lotto jackpot.

To add to the jackpot winner there were seven lucky ticket holders who matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to each win £97,027. A further 294 players then matched five numbers to win £1,443 and then majority of winners came from the lowest UK Lotto prize tier as 290,687 players matched three numbers to win £10.
Out of the UK Lotto numbers drawn in this mid-week draw the number 38 was selected and this is actually the most often picked UK Lotto number and last night it made its 236th appearance in the UK Lotto results. In contrast to that the number 16 was drawn and this number is amongst some of the least often picked UK Lotto numbers as it has been in the UK Lotto results 188 times.
As the UK Lotto jackpot was won it now goes back to basics again and as the next draw is a Saturday night draw the UK Lotto jackpot is now estimated at £4.1 million. As the UK Lotto jackpot has now been won four times in row, it may seem as though a winning streak has started to develop, so the question is will any players match the UK Lotto results on Saturday night to win the jackpot and carry on this winning streak or will it start to rollover?
