Last night saw the first UK Lotto draw of this month take place therefore many players were crossing their fingers and hoping to scoop the top prize that was on offer. This was in fact the case as the UK Lotto results for Wednesday 1st August 2012 show that one winning ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn to scoop the jackpot that was worth £2,306,611 and also become the first top prize winners of this month. There were also just over 260,000 tickets that won a prize, but were you one of them?
Latest UK National Lottery / Lotto Results for 4 August 2012
There were nine ticket holders that matched five numbers and the Bonus Ball to each win £78,858 and then 202 players matched five numbers to each win £2.195. In add to that 13,168 players won £74 by matching four numbers and then over 248,000 players won £10 by matching three of the numbers drawn.
Out of all the numbers drawn last night two of them are amongst some of the least often picked numbers in the UK Lotto. Both the numbers 20 and 13 don’t get drawn as often in the UK Lotto results but last night 20 made its 171th appearance and then 13 made its 185th appearance in the UK Lotto results.
The UK Lotto jackpot is now worth an estimated £4 million for Saturday’s draw and as the jackpot has been won five times in a row it will be interesting to see if this winning streak can continue. Make sure you have your tickets ready for this draw as you never know, you could become the sixth UK Lotto jackpot winner in a row!
