The first UK Lotto draw of the week took place last night and as the jackpot has been won in the past two draws in this lottery, players were hoping that last night luck would be on their side. The UK Lotto results for Wednesday 17th April 2013 show that luck was on the side of two ticket holders as two players both matched the six numbers drawn to split the £2.1 million jackpot. These weren’t the only winners though as over 258,000 players won a prize, but were you one of them?
Latest UK National Lottery / Lotto Results for 17 April 2013
There were seven ticket holders that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier UK Lotto prize which was last night worth £92,991. The winners didn’t stop there though because 368 players matched five numbers to win £1,105 and then the smallest UK Lotto prize worth £10 was won by 245,158 players who all matched three numbers. A full prize breakdown of last night’s UK Lotto results is available on www.lottery.co.uk.
The numbers drawn last night make for some interesting statistics. This is because five of the six main numbers drawn are all even, and were spaced just one number apart. The numbers 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 are rarely seen in the UK Lotto results altogether and having five even numbers and just one odd number in the results has only happened 135 times since this lottery first started.
This is now the third time in a row the UK Lotto jackpot has been won so it will be interesting to see whether any players will be able to win the jackpot on Saturday, which is estimated at £3.8 million, or if it will rollover.
