Many players were hoping to match the UK Lotto results for Wednesday 16th May 2012 to scoop the jackpot and become the next UK Lotto top prize winners for May 2012. However, the results from this draw show that players failed to match the six numbers drawn to walk away with the UK Lotto jackpot that came out at just over £2.4 million, meaning that the top prize rolls over to the next draw. Despite that there were over 240,000 players that did win one of the other UK Lotto prizes, but were you one of them?
Latest UK National Lottery / Lotto Results for 23 May 2012
Last night the results show that there were three UK Lotto ticket holders that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize that was worth £248,115. To add to that 170 players matched five numbers to win £2,736 and then over 230,000 players matched three numbers to win the smallest UK Lotto prize that is always worth £10.
Out of the numbers drawn last night the numbers 21 and 41 made it into the UK Lotto results and these two are amongst some of the least often drawn numbers in the UK Lotto and they both made their 184th appearance in the results last night.
As the UK Lotto jackpot wasn’t won last night it rolls over to Saturday’s draw and it is estimated at £6.6 million. This is the first time the top prize has rolled over in the UK Lotto since the 21st April, so will any players be able to match the UK Lotto results on Saturday night to win this rollover jackpot or will this top prize remain elusive?
